Another noteworthy destination is Hakushu. Hakushu is one of Japan’s best pure waters and there is a world famous single molt whisky Distillery, “Hakushu”. There is a very popular guided tour where you can see the facilities in the distillery. In addition, there is a very popular Japanese Sake brewery, Shichiken.

History
Pines Cottage Yatsugatake is located along a historical trail where a famous Shogun, Takeda Shingen, had used for military purpose in 1542.
There is also a popular Japanese sake brewery, Shichiken.Shichiken brewery was established in 1750, has nearly 300 years history, and Shichiken’s sake is brewed using the local pure water of Hakushu and sake rice are of exceptional quality. You can visit the Shichiken brewery, that is made with traditional Japanese architecture, and purchase fresh Sake.
